7. Name some services which provide services for people:

Post: it distributes letters, postcards, telegrams, parcels and other printed materials to recipients. Postal services used to be important especially before the Internet age, when people couldn´t send email or text messages. The person who sends the letter or parcel is called a sender and the one who is the letter delivered to is called a recipient.

Bank: it provides financial services. Most people have a current bank account for keeping money and paying their cheques. If necessary we can use a card to pay in the shops. Otherwise we can pay cash. If we need to borrow some money, the bank may give us a loan or mortgage which is money for building a house or buying a flat.

Police: their role is to protect the citizens, catch the criminals and investigate crimes. They also fine drivers for bad parking or speeding. At the police station people can get new identity cards or passports.
